 , and teaching artist\, and is featured at conferences and festivals\, sch
 ools and libraries throughout Michigan and across the country. In “My Moth
 er’s Voice\,” Ms. Sima tells the compelling story of her mother’s encounte
 r with the Gestapo\, escape from Germany during the Holocaust and adjustme
 nt to life in America. The second part of the program will encourage parti
 cipation from the audience to tell stories about their parents. The presen
 tation will take place in the Carlton Center Church.
