Historic Village:
Labor Day through Memorial Day (September 1, 2025 - May 25, 2026)
- During weekdays - Open only for prescheduled groups (including guided tours) and special events.
- During paid events - Historic Village buildings open.
- During unpaid events - Majority of Historic Village buildings open.
- After Memorial Day - Portion of Historic Village buildings open, call ahead for full list.

Beach, Boat Launch and Recreation Area:
Free of charge, except for pavilion and facility rentals or during special events.
- Open daily September 2, 2025 - October 20, 2025 from 8 am to 8 pm. Beach closed until May 2026 after Labor Day.
- Open daily October 21, 2025 - October 31, 2025 from 8 am to 7 pm. Boat Ramp closed November 8, 2025.
- Open daily November 1, 2025 - May 25, 2026 from 8 am to 6 pm. Recreation Area gate may close due to poor road conditions.
- Open daily May 25, 2026 - September 7, 2026 from 8 am to 9 pm, weather permitting.
- Recreation Area Closed for Father's Day Car Show.
Dogs are welcome at any time, but not inside of the buildings, unless they are service animals! Please keep them leashed (max length 6 ft.) and pick up after them. Please consult the event schedule before you decide to bring your pet - certain events are loud and may cause undue stress.
