With 310 acres of rolling terrain and miles of river and lake frontage surrounding the Historic Village, it's a perfect place to spend the day with family and friends. Swimming, sunbathing and picnicking are popular on our beaches which are equipped with shelters, tables and modern restrooms. Volleyball, horse shoes and softball facilities are also available.
The concrete boat ramp will launch you into some of the best boating and fishing around. Anglers favor Thornapple Lake for its walleye, trophy muskies and large mouth bass. Pan fish are abundant, and the river is known for its small mouth bass fishing.
You can wander through deep forests and rolling open meadows great for a short stroll or a long walk using our Trail Map. Two geocache sites are hidden within the Park.
The swimming beach and boat launch are available for use free of charge when the Park is open, except on Father's Day.
