Charlton Park Gas & Steam Club

The first annual Steam Rodeo was held at Charlton Park in 1958. In 1983, the Gas and Steam Engine Club began construction of the Gas and Steam Company building. After completion in 1985, the building was open to the public the following year. The white oak timber used for the construction of the building was grown here at the Park. The building houses Charlton Park's gas and steam engines as well as various historical machines. The Club hosts two events a year and operates the Corley Sawmill during certain special events.
