There is no cost to use the track chair! The HCP Track chair is reserved on a first come, first served basis. Please select a date at least 1 week in advance, or your chair use will be considered a walk-in. (We are always happy to assist walk-in guests, but cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins). Only one user can be scheduled per day. HCP's track chair is available to utilize April 1 – Dec. 15, only Tuesday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by reservation.
Can be available during special events. 30 days advance registration required.
Requirements:
- User must be accompanied at all times by a companion 18 years of age or older who is in good physical condition to navigate Barry County Parks property.
- Identification must be presented upon arrival.
- User and companion must arrive 30 minutes prior to their preferred start time to complete in-person training.
- Action Trackchair® User Agreement & Waiver and Release of Liability Form must be signed after training before use begins.
- HCP staff may not under any circumstance assist with transfers to or from the chair unless for the purpose of emergency retrieval. User must bring companion to assist with transfer.
- No user under 16 years of age shall operate, ride, or be otherwise propelled on the track chair unless the person wears a safety helmet meeting United States Department of Transportation standards.
- The track chair can be used throughout the facility based on your comfort level. You will be provided to a copy of this map upon your arrival.
