Tree Sale
Barry Conservation Districts spring and fall tree sales provide low-cost trees and shrubs for reforestation and landscape planting. Seedling and transplant-sized conifers, hardwoods and fruiting and flowering shrubs are available in the spring, as well as 5-6 foot fruit trees. The fall sale offers conifers and spring-flowering bulbs. The Barry Conservation District accepts pre-orders from two months before the sale, and extras are always available on sale days at Charlton Parks Gas and Steam Barn. Spring sale dates for 2010 are Friday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to noon. The fall sale is scheduled for Friday, October 8, from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to noon. Contact the Barry Conservation District Office at 1611 S.
