Basics of Volunteer Management Webinar
Historic Charlton Park will host The Basics of Managing Today’s Multigenerational and Diverse Volunteers and Docents webinar produced by the American Assoc. of Museums (AAM) and brought to you by the Michigan Museums Association (MMA).
Join experienced docent and volunteer managers from a range of institutions to explore the basics of managing today’s multigenerational and diverse volunteers, including:
• Creating volunteer opportunities for Baby Boomers
• Developing a Junior Docent program
• Identifying and utilizing family volunteers in your institution
• Creating access for hearing impaired volunteers and visitors
The webinar and discussion that follows promise to be a great opportunity to learn from experts and compare notes and find resources locally.
Please arrive by 1:30 p.m. to get settled and participate introductions. Webinar will begin at 2 p.m. and lasts until 3:30 p.m. with discussion to follow.
