No Family Left Indoors - Tree-rific!
Did you know that the roots of the sassafras tree were a key ingredient in root beer? Come to Historic Charlton Park to learn the history of common trees and play games to solidify identification. Your family will take a short guided nature walk and have a chance to discover and learn about common trees. After the walk, you will play a variation of tag in the historic village to further cement identification, and much more! The program will be presented by Park staff and light refreshments will be provided. Please contact Historic Charlton Park by phone (269) 945-3775 if you have questions or visit the No Family Left Indoors webpage to register.
